So, so beautiful. Sadly, that's all she was asked to do here - be beautiful, scared, but "strong for your family" after her character was kidnapped by a gang of unshaven East Europeans red shirts. She basically served as a rage stimulant for her husband, played by Liam Neeson, who needed someone else to save this time. The daughter again would have probably feel repetitive. A filler role, nothing interesting unfortunately.
It's been a while since Famke got into a wide international release movie, but things are finally picking up. 2013 looks very promising with Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters, The Wolverine and a new TV show Hemlock Grove coming up. At the moment though her career is at a very low point. I can't even say whether I like her as an actress or not - that's how seldom I've seen her in anything recently. I vaguely remember her from a couple of X-Men movies, but that's about it. I guess I missed most of her limited releases. I'll tell you more in a year :)
Current grade: 32. 2013 should see some movement here. Probably upwards.
